Mandate
Promulgates and implements policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations governing post-production flow of livestock, meat, and meat products through inspection, processing, storage and preservation. In the same manner, NMIS shall protect the interest of consuming public and shall endeavor for the development of livestock and meat industry.
